Growing forests and pastures, particularly of the leguminous variety, intermingled with other species, builds up the soil, through biological nitrogen fixation, in synergy with the micro-organisms there present, retaining water during intense raining while storing it for dry weather. Aerial seeding allows to plant trees, at low costs, at otherwise inaccessible areas, and at the exact quantity, timing, and placing.
